"Love Letters" by A.R. Gurney
We celebrate Theatre West back on stage at the Stardust Theatre with a concert and a play. The concert features some of your favorite lov longs inspired by the play "LOVE LETTERS" by A.R. Gurney. Ours is a unique, never before seen presentation of this play. The characters Andy and Melissa are in elementary school when their mothers make them write Thank You notes to each other. It is just the beginning of letters exchanged through the years, as we follow their complicated relationship, physically apart but in many ways as close as only true loves can be.

Theatre West offers full-length plays and musicals from fall through spring at the Stardust Theatre in Sun City West. Ticket sales to performances are open to the general public.
Short productions, called Tuesday Programs, are performed after club meetings on the third Tuesday of each month. Sun City West residents who are interested in any or all phases of theatre, including participation in plays or musical productions, are welcome to join. Members aspiring to act on stage can learn technique and gain experience through various other activities.

Theatre West became a chartered club in 1980 and has a growing membership. With the completion of the Stardust Theatre building in 1989, Theatre West became a viable performing art club. Its success has attracted sell-out audiences for every production.

The club has contributed to a fully equipped scenery shop, storage building, refitted state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment. Income from ticket sales (after expenses) is used to continually improve the theatre and audience experience.
