Reader's Theater

Pull up a chair, bring your voice (no memorization required!!) and get ready for two hours of laughter, storytelling, and just enough theatrical mischief to keep things interesting.

We kick things off with gentle vocal and physical warm-ups - nothing too Olympic, we promise!  Think waking up the voice, loosening up the body, and maybe discovering muscles you forgot you had...all in the name of sounding fabulous!

Next comes some improv--quick, playful exercises that get the imagination humming and the room laughing.  No pressure, no wrong answers-- just a chance to be a little silly and completely in the moment.

Then we dive into script reading.  This is where the magic really happens.  From witty classics to heartfelt stories, everyone gets a chance to bring characters to life using nothing but their voice, timing, and a twinkle in the eye..  And, finally, we wrap up with informal performances for each other-- a supportive, applause-filled mini-show where…
